Hello! I’m Rhianedd, mum of two, Primary School teacher of seven years and an experienced Learning Mentor. These roles gave me the opportunity to work closely with children with SEN and emotional needs across the school I worked in. Throughout my teaching career, I saw first-hand the incredible value of children developing a love for reading and literacy, and the lifelong benefits that come from it. In May 2023, I bought into the Story Sense Franchise and began my journey in September 2023. Since then, my passion for immersive storytelling and supporting families has only grown, and in March 2026, I proudly took over as Franchisor for Story Sense. I work within the community running classes that I absolutely love, creating safe, welcoming spaces where families can connect, learn, and grow together through the magic of storytelling. I also run an after-school club for children aged 7–11, helping to ignite their passion for story writing and creativity. I bring energy, warmth, and passion into everything I do, with a strong focus on supporting early development through immersive storytelling experiences that make every child and family feel valued, included, and inspired.

Hello, I’m Charlotte, franchisee of Story Sense Exeter, and I run classes across Torbay, Teignbridge and Exeter. With over 12 years of experience working with children under six, I am passionate about creating meaningful early years experiences that inspire confidence, curiosity and a love of learning. I am Level 3 qualified in Children and Young People’s Workforce, and have worked across a range of settings including primary schools, childminders and private nurseries, building strong relationships with children and families throughout my career. My Story Sense journey began as a parent, attending classes with my own children, Millie and Albie. Watching their faces light up with wonder, excitement and joy sparked something really special in me, and I instantly knew Story Sense was something I wanted to be part of. Nearly three years later, Story Sense has become my full-time role, and since going full-time in March, I’ve loved growing the business even further. I now deliver sessions across nurseries, childminding settings, community classes and play cafés, as well as working in collaboration with local businesses to bring Story Sense to even more families. As a mum myself, I know just how precious those early years are. I bring both professional knowledge and personal experience to every session, including an understanding of breastfeeding, cloth nappies, baby-led weaning and babywearing, helping to create a warm and welcoming space where families feel supported and children can truly thrive. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing children’s confidence grow, watching them become immersed in the magic of stories, and sharing those special moments with families week after week. I feel incredibly lucky to do something I love every day and to be part of so many children’s early learning journeys.

I’m Sarah, your Story Sense leader for North Cheshire, and I’m so excited to welcome you and your little ones to our sensory story classes! I worked in a special school for over 20 years, starting my journey as a Teaching Assistant before progressing to Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). Over the years, I’ve specialised in supporting children with Autism; from communication and behaviour to emotional understanding, as well as supporting parents and carers along the way. Creating engaging, and inclusive sensory experiences is something I’m incredibly passionate about. Our Story Sense classes are designed to bring stories to life through sensory play, music, movement, and imagination, giving children a safe and magical space to explore, connect, and have fun together. Alongside Autism support, I also have experience in areas such as toilet training, sleep support, and helping children understand and manage their feelings. Whether your child is confident, cautious, sensory-seeking, or simply loves a good story, you’ll always receive a warm welcome in class. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message or email, I’d love to hear from you. Hopefully I’ll see you very soon for some sensory storytelling adventures!
