Terms and Conditions of classes
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.
Food and drink
Food and drink is allowed in our venues. We would ask that food is not consumed during a class session where possible as this can be distracting for all children. We know that babies can need to feed and sleep at any moment so please continue to feed (breastfed or bottle) and comfort them as necessary.
Can't attend a session?
At Story Sense, a block of 6 weeks is allocated and paid for each child and this is non-refundable (see cancellation policy below). If you are unable to make a session due to illness or holiday, please inform your class leader as soon as possible. You are able to pass your space to a friend for this week. When contacting your leader, please inform them who will be taking your space. If you are unable to fill the space, the class is not refunded or credited.
Illness
Please DO NOT bring your child/ren to the Story Sense classes if they or you have any of the following symptoms, are ill or have serious infections which are contagious (the most common being D&V, Chicken pox, Scarlet fever, conjunctivitis etc).

A high temperature

A new, continuous cough

a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
Please DO NOT attend classes if

you or your child have tested positive for coronavirus

you live with someone who has tested positive within the last 5 days
If you have attended a class in the previous week and you or your child has developed a serious illness, please advise me of this so I can inform all others in the group. If you or your child have had sickness or diarrhoea, please ensure they are 48 hours clear before attending the next session.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation of classes by the customer
If you wish to cancel your space, you are entitled to a full refund if you have informed us in writing up to 5 days before the start of the term. Any cancellations in writing within the 5 days prior to the term starting you will be entitled to 50% refund. Once the term has started, no refunds will be given.

Cancellation of classes by Story Sense
Classes will run in all circumstances unless out of our control including, but not limited to, fire, floods, pandemics, epidemics. In these circumstances, refunds will not be given. In the event of further lockdown, classes will move online for the remainder of the term.
If the class leader is unable to run the class due to illness, another class will be arranged where possible. If this is not possible, you will receive a credit for that session which will be valid for 6 months.
